$1,000 NSHSS Voter Awareness Scholarship Due 10/1

Background: NSHSS is awarding students who demonstrate an active commitment for spreading awareness/education on the importance of voting in their community. Five students will be awarded with $1,000 each.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to high school 11th-12th graders and college students who are 18 years old or older, or will be 18 by the national midterm Election Day 2022.

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the October 1st deadline. Required materials include:

• Confirmation of voter registration & pledge to vote on election day 2022
• Essay response to the prompt provided
• Additional videos/photos/media showing your community involvement on this issue
• Letter of recommendation
• Resume
