$1,000 Cooking Up Joy Scholarship Due 8/31

Background: The $1,000 Cooking Up Joy Scholarship funded by Budget Branders is all about inspiring students to build healthy cooking habits and find their own sense of joy and connection to food.

Eligibility:
• undergraduate or graduate students currently attending a college, university, or trade school full-time
• 3.0+ GPA
• open to students of any major (you do not have to be a culinary student to apply)

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the August 31st deadline. To apply, students are asked to cook an item of their choosing and put their own creative spin on the item. Students will need to take a picture of what they cook along with a write up that includes their ingredients and cooking directions plus an explanation on why they chose the item they did. Along with the photo and write up, submit your transcript and the completed online application form.
