$1,000 HPFY Make a Difference Scholarship Due 8/15

Background: The Health Products for You Make a Difference Scholarship aims to recognize and reward selfless individuals who care for those in need, give back to their communities, and do their part in making the world a better place for all.

Eligibility:
•Be a current high school senior or a college student. If the applicant is a high school student, then he or she should have a letter of acceptance from an accredited college, university, technical school, or vocational school for the fall of the academic year following high-school graduation.
• Enrollment status in school or college must be full-time.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Have a minimum of 100 documented hours volunteering in the local community providing care, comfort and service to those in need. These hours can be collected over a period of two years

How To Apply: Students can apply here by the August 15th deadline. Required materials include your transcript, documentation to prove the volunteer hours done, a 500-word minimum essay on the prompt provided, and any supporting documents or letters of recommendations from teachers, mentors or advisers that you would like the selection committee to consider.
