$5,000 James W. Lewis Global Leader Scholarship for High School & College Students

Background: The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is awarding five $5,000 high school awards and one $5,000 college award through the The James W. Lewis Global Leader Scholarship. The scholarship has been established to encourage and recognize young leaders who exemplify the values to which Mr. Lewis has dedicated his life and work. Find his complete bio here.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors and college students with a minimum 3.5 GPA or higher.

How to Apply: High school students can apply here and college students can apply here by the August 31st deadline. Required materials include a 500-800 word essay on the prompt provided, an academic resume, current transcript, and recommendation from an educator.
