$4,250 Mary Schonfield Scholarship for Adult Women in a Physician Assistant Program

Background: This scholarship honors Mary Schonfield. In her 40’s, Mary decided to go back to school to become a Physician’s Assistant. After earning her degree, she returned to her community to help the underserved population, going on to become a women’s health provider, bringing her sensitivity and positive attitude to countless people in her community.

Eligibility: This scholarship seeks to support women adult learners (27 years or older) who are currently accepted to a Physician Assistant (PA) program.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply here by the August 17th deadline. To apply, submit a 400-600 word essay on what prompted you to return to school to become a medical professional and what you are hoping to accomplish once you graduate.
