Up to $5,000 Eastern Regional Korean American HS and College Scholarship Due 6/30

Background: The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) is a non-profit, volunteer-managed organization established to help meet the financial needs of Korean-American students seeking higher education. Their scholarships, including the Eastern Regional Korean American Scholarship, range from $500 to $5,000.

Eligibility: 
• of Korean heritage (i.e., have a Korean parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent, or be adopted from Korea)
• 3.0+ GPA
• can demonstrate a need for financial assistance
• full-time student at a school in one of the designated Eastern region states during the 2022-2023 school year (Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia)

How to Apply: Candidates can apply here by the June 30th deadline. The application is located at the bottom of the page, with separate forms for high school and college/graduate students. Required materials include:
• online application
• two letters of recommendation
• 500-word essay
• transcript
