Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine FREE Program for High Schoolers
Overview:
Investigate, discover, and experiment at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Opportunities Academy. Build your resume and college applications with clinical simulations and labs, networking opportunities, and learn alongside PCOM faculty and medical students.
The PCOM Opportunities Academy aims to offer traditionally underrepresented students the opportunity to accelerate their STEM+M skills, learn about the college and medical school admissions process, and explore careers in medicine.

The Opportunities Academy is open to Philadelphia high school students at no cost.
The program will be held Monday, June 20-Friday, June 24 with the following schedule:
Monday, June 20: 10:00 – 1:00 pm (Virtual day)
Tuesday, June 21-Friday, June 24: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in person at PCOM
Students attending the PCOM Opportunities Academy must be fully vaccinated with the booster. Students will need to submit their vaccine cards ahead of the program.
