$1,500 National Videogame Museum Scholarship for Women in Tech Due 6/1

Background: “The National Videogame Museum is devoted to chronicling and preserving our industry’s rich past but we also look to contribute to the future of the videogame and technology industries through our scholarship program.” The NVM is offering four $1,500 scholarships. While three are specific to Texas residents, the fourth is open to women across the country.

Eligibility:
• female pursuing a career in either a videogame or technology-based field
• high school senior scheduled to graduate in the Spring of 2022
• GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the June 1st deadline. Required materials are outlined below but be sure to view the application link for details before preparing your submission.
• one letter of recommendation from a teacher in the student’s graduating high school
• one letter of recommendation from an unrelated community member who can attest to the student’s community involvement
• completed application
• 500-750-word essay on the prompt provided
