Social Justice Through Media: Free Summer Program for Philadelphia 11th-12th Graders

High school juniors and rising seniors from the School District of Philadelphia are invited to apply to West Chester University’s free iCamp program. The program will take place at West Chester from July 24th through July 30th. Participants will select between the following focus areas: video production, audio production, web development, or game development. Are you a Philadelphia high school junior or senior with a passion for social justice through media? Join our media developer-in-residence program at West Chester University, WCU for an exciting week!

iCamp is a free media academy that will be held from July 24th-30th of 2022 on West Chester University’s campus with current WCU professors, students, and staff. We invite high school juniors and rising seniors from the Philadelphia School District to join us in making media that matters. We produce films, games, podcasts & audio, and web sites, for youth and by youth whose passion is to effect social change.

Learn new skills. Make new friends. Meet Philly based social justice leaders and artists. Work on challenging and fun projects. Craft media that represents your voice and your perspective. No prior experience necessary!
