$1,920 Finer Womanhood Scholarship for NE Philadelphia Seniors Due 3/31

Background: On behalf of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter, we would like to congratulate you on achieving an important milestone in your life. The process of selecting a college or university, as well as deciding on an educational track and career journey can be an overwhelming task, and we commend you on embracing this next step.

The principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. We value education immensely, and to honor our sorority’s principle of scholarship, the women of Alpha Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter will be offering non-renewable academic scholarship awards of $1,920.00, to selected high school senior females who are residents of, or attend a high school in our service area of Northeast Philadelphia, or Bucks County, PA., who have been accepted into a four (4) year college/university.

Eligibility:
• Female HS Seniors who reside in, or attend high school in Northeast Philadelphia or Bucks County, PA.
• who have been accepted into a four (4) year college/university
• with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.
• who demonstrate leadership through extra-curricular activities

How to Apply: Apply here by the March 31st deadline. Application requirements include:

• One letter of recommendation
• An official high school transcript emailed by your guidance counselor or advisor
• Copy of college/university acceptance letter.
• Personal essay between 500-750 words on the prompt provided
