$1,000 HSINTELLIGENCE Scholarship for Aspiring BIPOC Nurses Due 3/15

Background: Nurses are more critical than ever, yet there is a rising nursing shortage in the United States. 1.2 million additional registered nurses are needed by 2030 in order to address the growing shortage. This scholarship seeks to encourage the next generation of nurses who hope to address the COVID-19 pandemic through their careers.

Eligibility:
• Must be a first-generation student
• Must be a high school or undergraduate student
• Must be a BIPOC student
• Must be interested in nursing

How to Apply: Students are asked to write a 400-600 word essay on how you hope to help the world through your medical career and how you plan to positively impact the healthcare of minorities and marginalized groups. See the full prompt and application here. Apply by the March 15th deadline.
