$5,000 to $25,000 Taco Bell Scholarship Due 1/11

December 13, 2021

Apply by January 11th to the Taco Bell Live Màs Scholarship. This scholarship is all about demonstrating what you want to achieve with your passion and how higher education will help you realize that goal. This is a “passion-based scholarship program” that does not consider financial need or grades. It is also renewable for up to four years!

Award: This year, Taco Bell will be awarding $1 million to new applicants, $1.5 million through their program for Taco Bell restaurant employees, and $4.4 million through their renewal program for previous recipients. While exact award amounts are not specified, they tend to be issued in amounts of $5,000, $10,000, or $25,000.

The scholarship comes with additional perks and support. The scholarship page notes that “This program is more than a scholarship. We’re not merely a one-off check writer – we’re a continued partner and collaborator who’ll be there with connections and opportunities throughout your journey to help your passion shine so brightly, it changes the world.”

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to students ages 16-26 who are passionate about creating a better future and making a positive impact on their community.

Scholarship awards can be applied to qualified education expenses (tuition, required fees, books, and course-specific supplies) at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational, technical, or trade school.

How to Apply: Applicants are asked to submit a 30-second to 2-minute video responding to the following questions:
• What is your passion and how are you currently pursuing it?
• How do you plan to use your passion to uniquely make a positive change in your community or the world?
• How will your education help enable you to pursue your passion and make a change?

Your video can be filed on a phone, computer, tablet, or any other MP4 video-enabled camera to which you have access. It could be a short film, animation, or a simple testimonial. Note that, “This isn’t about how well you can make a film—we want to learn more about you, your passion and how you plan to ignite change in your community and beyond!” See additional submission details here.
