$1,000 Selfless Parent Scholarship Due 11/30

Apply by November 30th to the $1,000 Selfless Parent Scholarship, funded by Capital Family & Divorce Law Group. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who best shares how their parent has made sacrifices for them throughout their life, and how these sacrifices have benefited the student.

The best submissions will discuss examples of how the applicant’s parent(s) have made sacrifices to help the applicant succeed in life. Examples can include but are not limited to, driving the applicant to after-school activities, buying a present for the student that helped them discover their passion, or sending the student to a new school to enhance their learning.

Eligibility:
• currently enrolled or will be enrolled for the 2022 Spring Semester in a two to five-year postsecondary institution
• legal U.S. resident
• 3.0+ GPA and in good overall academic standing

How to Apply:
• professional resumé that lists your experience, both professional and academic
• transcript from their current school
• 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: Discuss how your parent has made sacrifices for you or has otherwise shown selflessness to help you succeed in life. How did those sacrifices directly benefit you?
