$2,000 Dr. Suhyun An Scholarship Due 11/30

Apply by November 30th to the Dr. Suhyun An Scholarship, which will award two recipients with $2,000 each.

Background:
Founded by Dr. Suhyun An, a doctor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, the Dr.Suhyun An Scholarship was born from a desire to assist dedicated students who have shown a commitment to education in the pursuit of a medical degree. Dr. An herself has 4 degrees and knows firsthand how expensive college can be. This is why she created The Dr. Suhyun An Scholarship to assist in alleviating the financial burden imposed upon the doctors, nurses, and other medical experts of the future. This is because the students of today will be the ones responsible for the breakthroughs in medicine and healthcare tomorrow.

Eligibility:
• Be a high school senior accepted to an accredited college or university or a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• 3.0+ GPA
• Be in pursuit of a degree in the medical field

How to Apply:
• submit a 500-800 word essay responding to the prompt: Why are you pursuing an education and career in the medical field, and what motivates you to learn more about medicine?
• list two references that are familiar with your work and/or academic life (note that letters of recommendation from these references are not required)
