$1,000 Overcoming Adversity Scholarship Due 11/30

Apply by November 30th to the Kopfler & Hermann Overcoming Adversity Scholarship. This $1,000 award will be given to a student who has overcome adversity in their life and has emerged stronger.

Eligibility:
• enrolled in college, graduate school, or be a GED holder who is about to attend college
• 3.0+ GPA
• can demonstrate that although they have encountered hardship, they have persevered and committed themselves to become successful in all of their endeavors

How to Apply:
• current resume
• unofficial transcript
• 500-1,000 word essay that describes how you overcame adversity, outlining a specific roadblock through which you fought and emerged victoriously
