Beyoncé + Jay-Z About Love Scholarship Open to Lincoln University Students
Apply by September 26th to the About Love Scholarship, established in partnership between BeyGOOD, The Shawn Carter Foundation, and Tiffany & Co. The scholarship is open to students in the arts and creative fields at five HBCUs: Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia, Bennett College in North Carolina, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and Central State University in Ohio. The program will award a total of $2 million in scholarships with individual award sizes ranging per student based on financial need.
Eligibility:
• Students must qualify for financial aid.
• This scholarship supports incoming and current students interested in pursuing degrees in creative fields (visual arts, media, performance, design, etc.), history, and communications.
• Priority will be given to students who are facing financial hardships and in need of emergency financial assistance.
How to Apply:
Students are asked to complete a brief online application that includes a 250-word minimum response to the following prompt: Please describe the role and importance of the Arts and Humanities in the 21st Century for African Americans and how this scholarship will help you to pursue your goals.
