$1,500 Scholarship for First-Gen Immigrants and Children of First-Gen Immigrants Due 7/31

Apply by July 31st for the $1,500 The Nargis E. Ragab Scholarship for First Generation Immigrants and the Children of Immigrants.

Applicants must: 
• be currently enrolled or enrolling Fall 2021 in a 2-year or 4-year degree program at an accredited college or university in the U.S.
• have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants are asked to submit:
•  current resume with updated contact and education information
•  official or unofficial transcript from your current or most recent academic institution
•  750-1,000 word essay on the following topic: Discuss how being an immigrant or the child of immigrants has shaped who you are today and what hardships you have had to overcome as a result of being an immigrant or the child of an immigrant in this country.
