Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship

Dunkin’ and its franchisees are committed to a strong local community. The Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship program recognizes the importance of education and provides support to residents of the community and their extended corporate family. Every year, this program awards up to 25 $2,000 scholarships to qualified students throughout the region.

Who is eligible to apply for the Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship?

Applicants of the Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program award must:

  • Be high school seniors who are residents of one of the counties listed* or current undergraduate students attending school in one of the counties listed*, who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) or higher.

Dunkin’ full-time or part-time employees who meet the eligibility criteria are also encouraged to apply.

Franchise owners and dependents are not eligible.

Judges consider:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities & honors
  • Work experience
  • Statement of goals and aspirations
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need is not considered.

How much is the scholarship worth?

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award.  Dunkin’ awards 25 scholarships every year. Awards are for one year only and are not renewable. Awards are for undergraduate study only, and will be paid in early August.

When is the scholarship application due?

The application is due by April 15, 2020 by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time).

*Eligible Counties are as follows:

  • Kent or New Castle counties in DE
  • Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, or Salem counties in NJ
  • Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, or Philadelphia counties in PA
