TMCF | MCDONALD’S INSPIRATION CELEBRATION SCHOLARSHIP
TMCF and McDonald’s are proud to offer opportunities to outstanding undergraduate or graduate students attending one of the 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the TMCF member-school network. Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of $10,000 during the 2018-2019 academic school year, which may be used toward covering the costs of tuition and fees, on-campus room and board or required textbooks purchased from member schools.
The TMCF | McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Scholarship is awarded for involvement in music performance and/or education. How does music inspire you? How do you see it shape the world and those around you? Share your passion and vision for music with us when you apply for the Inspiration Celebration scholarship.
TMCF | McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Scholarship Requirements
- Open to students 18 years or older
- Be enrolled in the 2018-2019 school year as a full-time student at one of TMCF’s 47 member-schools; undergraduate or graduate
- Current grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- 2018-2019 Student Aid Report
- Have demonstrated involvement in music performance and/or education through a relevant music major and/or participation in band or similar musical activity.

- A few photos – show McDonald’s your passion for music. We want to see you with your choir, band or ensemble!
- Essay: *In a minimum of 500 words, please address the following question: How does music inspire you? Please explain what music means to you.
- Essay: In a minimum of 500 words, please address the following question: Please describe your involvement in music, whether it’s thru your academic major or a performance.
