Background: The Anna V. Waters Scholarship Fund was created to support African-American students who may not have perfect grades but have strong potential and heart. This scholarship believes that a GPA does not define a student’s worth or future success. By investing in African-American “C” students, the fund helps open doors to college, technical, or vocational education.
Eligibility:
🎓 African-American high school senior
📚 GPA between 2.0 – 2.9
🤝 Demonstrated commitment to community
🌟 Shows potential to succeed after high school
Requirements:
📝 Complete the online scholarship application
✉️ Submit two letters of recommendation
