$2,500 Concerto Competition for HS Musicians, Due: 11/15
Background: “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation are inviting talented high school musicians (grades 9–12) to compete in the 2026 Concerto Competition for High School Musicians. The top winner will perform as a guest soloist with the Marine Band and earn a $2,500 scholarship! This is an incredible opportunity for young string, piano, or harp players to shine and gain national recognition.
Eligibility:
🎓 Open to U.S. high school students (grades 9–12) for the 2025–2026 school year
🎻 String, piano, and harp players only (woodwinds, brass & percussion eligible in 2027)
🚫 No previous winners or immediate family of Marine Band members
🇺🇸 Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Requirements:
🎥 Submit an unedited YouTube video performance of one approved piece (with accompaniment)
📝 Complete the online application form with your video link
