Background: Ryan was a kind, curious, and compassionate young man who faced challenges with mental health and the struggle to find proper support. Despite his efforts to find purpose and happiness, the barriers to accessible mental health care made his journey difficult. This scholarship honors Ryan’s memory by helping future mental health professionals make care more accessible and effective.
