$10k Scholarship for Student Veterans Studying Mental Health, Due: 4/7
Background: The John Edelman Scholars Program supports student veterans who are passionate about mental health counseling. This program awards five $10,000 scholarships to high-achieving veterans pursuing degrees in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related fields. Veterans have given so much—this scholarship helps them give back through careers in mental health!
Eligibility:
🎓 Enrolled as a full-time undergrad or grad student in 2025-26
📚 Studying mental health-related fields (psychology, social work, psychiatry, etc.)
🇺🇸 Current student veteran, National Guard, or Reserve member
🪖 Active duty members in good standing
✅ Honorable discharge or in good standing with military branch
Requirements:

📜 Unofficial transcripts
✉️ Two reference letters
📝 Essay responses
📑 DD-214 or proof of active duty
