Project 440’s Free College Readiness Program for Students Interested in Music, APPLY ASAP

Background:  Project 440’s Instruments for Success offers a FREE college readiness course in music for students of all backgrounds and skill levels. The ten-week program, held at Temple University from February 19 through May 6 , includes seven weeks with a college counselor and three weeks with guest speakers exploring diverse music-related career paths.

Earn and Learn: Participation is limited to 30 students. Students who meet attendance and participation requirements are eligible to receive a stipend of up to $200!

What students will learn:

🏫 Selecting schools: Find the right “fit” for goals and interests
📝 Writing essay: Craft a compelling college essay
🎭 Auditions/interviews: Prepare for success
💰 Financial aid: Navigate grants, scholarships
💵 Financial literacy: Intro to financial literacy
📚 SAT/ACT: Approach standardized tests effectively
🎶 Music careers: Explore paths within and connected to the field
