The $10k Black American Engineering Scholarship Award, Due: 3/18

✅ The Helping Project’s scholarship aids Black American women and men pursuing engineering degrees, aiming to combat institutional racism and enhance diversity in STEM fields. The scholarship will award students up to $10,000/school year.

Program Features:

Mentorship Program: Scholarship winners also participate in a professional mentorship program with experienced professionals at top companies in their field.


👩🏿‍🎓 Must identify as Black American
🎓 Incoming college freshman/HS senior or transferring from a 2-year to 4-year program
💰 Eligible for Federal Pell Grant
💵 Proven financial need
🇺🇸 U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident
📚 Good academic standing
🏫 Enrolling in an accredited 4-year institution
🔧 Pursuing a degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering

Scholarship Amount: 

💸 up to $10,000 a year
