$20,000 Equitable Excellence Scholarship Due 12/16

Background: The Equitable Excellence Scholarship recognizes students who show potential by demonstrating the qualities of leadership, determination, and resilience as critical enablers of their future success. The scholarship places an emphasis on empowering students’ future plans so that they can continue to have positive impacts on their communities.

Award: Equitable will provide 100 $5,000 annual scholarships. These scholarships are renewable for four years ($20,000 total). The company will also award 100 one-time $2,500 scholarships to help students with costs like tuition, books, or room and board. Recipients will also include support like mentoring, networking, and professional skill-building programs to support them in their transition to college.

Eligibility:
• U.S. citizen or legal resident
• current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in a 2 or 4-year college or university by Fall 2023
• demonstrate ambition and self-drive to be a force for good in school, community, or work activities

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the December 16th deadline. Required materials include a current, complete transcript of grades and an essay on the prompt provided.
