$5,000 Sahara Hope Scholarship For Women Empowered To Change The World Due 11/15

Background: This scholarship aims to inspire and impact young lives through the legacy of a young woman affected by domestic violence. The scholarship will award one recipient with $5,000 and a runner-up with $1,500.

Eligibility: This scholarship is open to women who are currently admitted to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university. Applicants must have a 3.0+ GPA and reside in the United States. Extra consideration will be given:

• to applicants impacted by domestic violence
• to applicants with an education/career in sexual health
• to academic achievement, financial need, and the applicant’s community service record

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the November 15th deadline. Required materials include one essay (500 words recommended) and two optional short answer questions. Our suggestion: always complete the optional answer questions.
