$5,000 Out to Innovate Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Junior or Senior STEM Majors Due 6/4

Background: Sponsored by Motorola Solutions Foundation, Out to Innovate Scholarships will award one $5,000 first-place scholarship and one $2,500 second place scholarship. The aim of the scholarship is to honor students who support a creative educational community that increases LGBTQ+ visibility and accomplishments and to encourage students to be out in their careers and support diversity in the STEM workforce. Eligibility:
• Identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community
• 2.75+ cumulative GPA
•Active supporter of and participant in programs or organizations that promote LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility
• Successful completion of a minimum of two years of post-high school education at an accredited U.S. college or university

• Three letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member familiar with your academic accomplishments; the other two from people familiar with your community/volunteer activities)
