$1,000 “Mom to Scholar” Scholarship For Ages 35+ Due 6/1

Background: The “Mom to Scholar” Scholarship for Mothers is open to mothers who want to begin or resume their journey towards earning a technical or college degree. Mothers who have a desire to earn their college degree bring unique perspectives that greatly enhance their learning experiences; for some, motherhood is a vocation that enlightens like no other.

Eligibility:
• Mother
• Age 35 or older
• Have financial need
• Enrolled at a technical, community, or four-year college/university
• US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, or DACA

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply here by the June 1st deadline. To apply, submit an essay (250-words minimum) on one of the prompts provided. If selected as a winner, the applicant will need to send income and college enrollment information. The winner will be selected on the strength of their essay response in regard to their life experiences and future goals.
