$5,000 NativeVision Scholarship for Indian American HS Seniors Due 5/20

Background: The annual NativeVision Scholarship awards $5,000 each to four eligible recipients. NativeVision is a national youth enrichment and empowerment initiative that began as a summer sports and life skills camp, bringing together Native youth with former college and professional athletes who volunteered as mentors and coaches. It has since evolved into a comprehensive year-round program. Learn more here.

Eligibility:
Provide proof of tribal membership, or explain why proof is not applicable
Demonstrate a sustained involvement in tribal community and an applied concern for Indigenous issues and initiatives
Maintain a 3.0+ GPA at the time of application
Demonstrate involvement in extracurricular, athletic activities, and/or additional learned skills like languages or computer skills
Be admitted to an accredited community college or four-year undergraduate program as an incoming freshman (for fall 2022)

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the May 20th deadline. Required materials include a copy of your high school transcript, college acceptance letter, and proof of tribal membership; a 200-word essay on the prompt provided; and two recommendation forms.
