$7,000 Healy Foundation Scholarship for Rising College Juniors/Seniors Due 5/1

Background: The Healy Foundation Scholarship provides tuition assistance for students to fund their junior/senior year of college. The Healy Foundation’s mission is to assist deserving students with the financial burden of higher education during a time of recent unexpected hardship. This scholarship is both financial need-based and merit-based. The scholarship is $7,000 per year and is renewable for four years.

• Full-time students entering junior or senior year at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
• GPA above 3.0
• Existing financial need combined with unexpected hardship
• United States citizenship

How to Apply: Students can complete the application here by the May 1st deadline. Required materials include:
• Unofficial transcript and your class schedule for the Fall 2023 semester in a PDF form
• Two letters of recommendation (the first from a teacher or academic advisor and the second from a current or former employer or supervisor). See the application page for instructions on how to send the letter request link to your recommenders.
• Three essay questions of 500 words or less each
