Apply by August 31st to the $1000 Active Life Scholarship for Political Expression.

Background:

Where else but in college do you get to explore your political views, debate with your roommates until midnight or take a stand for or against something that matters? College is when your political views are often established and solidified. It’s important to learn about the issues that matter to you as well as express your opinions. As a college or graduate school student, your political views (not to mention your vote!) are highly sought after.

To encourage you to become more vocal in politics (regardless of your party affiliation), we are offering the $1,000 Active Life Scholarship for Political Awareness. This scholarship is designed to encourage students to explore and express their political opinions and become more active in both local and national politics.

Eligibility:
• Current college or graduate school student or adult learner
• May be used at any college to study any major.

Complete the short application at the link above. Application includes a 3-5 sentence response to one of the following prompts: Why is it important for you to be politically active? -OR- What’s one way you’ve expressed your political views?
