Rock to the Future Free Virtual Summer Programs

June 14, 2021

View and enroll in Rock to the Future’s free virtual summer programs here.

• No cost for Philadelphia youth

• Students do not need any experience to join instrument classes. There are also many classes that do not require an instrument. If you need an instrument, Rock to the Future will provide you with one.

• If you do not have experience, you must first take the “foundation” level class for your instrument of choice (with the exception of drums). If you have experience outside of Rock to the Future and register for a non-foundation class, someone will follow up with you regarding your prior experience.

• Virtual classes are conducted on Zoom. Classes are usually for 1-hour and are multiple weeks. You are expected to participate in each weekly class. Rock to the Future can provide you with a laptop if you need one.

• In additional to instrument and vocal lessons and classes on music production and more, check out their academic offering: Avoid the Summer slide – join Rock to the Future’s book club to improve reading comprehension, build vocabulary and develop critical thinking, all while enjoying literary works with characters and authors that reflect your interests and your communities. Grades 3-6 and 7-12
