“Suit Her Up” Award
The Sonya Bryant- Lockett “Suit Her Up” Award is established in recognition of Ms. Sonya Bryant-Lockett, who is the mother of the CEO/Founder of Tools For Success, Inc., Marquis Coates. In honor of the professional example she has been for so many young women and her belief that all young women should look presentable, especially in the workplace, Tools For Success, Inc. will be awarding women suits and professional dress attire, to deserving young women who are currently enrolled in a Philadelphia public high school. It is Tools For Success, Inc.’s organizational vision, to assist in building the professional wardrobes of young women “purposed for success”. Do you qualify? If so, please complete the attached application and answer the required essay questions.
Eligibility
There shall be no restriction on any applicant by reason of race, age, creed, color, or national origin. The only limitations are the following:
• Applicants must be permanent Philadelphia residents.
• Applicants must be an 11th or 12th grade female in a Philadelphia public high school.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or better.
• Applicants must provide updated high school transcripts with application.
Please read the following very carefully. Failure to comply could result in disqualification.
How to Apply
Complete the ”Suit Her Up” application, including the written essay, and return all documentation to Tools For Success, Inc. P.O. Box 21492, Philadelphia, PA 19141 by March 29, 2019 (must be postmarked by this date).
Deadlines
The deadline for all application submissions is March 29, 2019.
