FAFSA Completion and Financial Aid Kick Off Event
PHEAA’S representative, Ron Felder, Higher Education Access Partner, will speak to the public about the financial aid process. Experts will be on hand to support completing the financial aid form and answer questions. Workshops will be conducted on topics such as: Returning to College as an Adult, Loans, 529 Plans, Deciphering Award Letters, and much more.”
For the past seven years PG2C has been successful at planning events that reach the greater community such as Swag Week, FAFSA Completion & Financial Aid Support Night and Scholarship Night.
- Swag Week is an annual series of college-related programs offered to high school students during the school district spring break.
- Scholarship Night is an event for high school students to learn about local scholarships and receiving tips on applying.
- FAFSA Completion & Financial Aid Support Night assist students and parents with award letter reviewing, FAFSA completion and financial aid questions and/ or concerns.
PG2C has also been the go-to for resources for both traditional and non-traditional students planning for their postsecondary future. This event will generate a huge buzz and awareness around the importance of completing FAFSA, PHEAA and creating a financially stable postsecondary plan for students.
